Overview

These terms govern your use of the Stoa Poker website (stoapoker.com) and application, operated by EPM Labs, LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”).

By using Stoa Poker, you agree to these terms. If you got the app from the App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

The Service

Stoa Poker is a poker training and education tool. It provides interactive drills and exercises designed to teach poker strategy concepts.

Stoa Poker does not offer:

  • Real-money gambling or wagering
  • Play-money gambling or wagering
  • Games of chance
  • Any form of online poker play against other users

All gameplay within Stoa Poker is simulated for educational purposes only.

Accounts

  • An account is optional. You can use Stoa Poker without one, and you don’t need one to subscribe.
  • If you create an account, you sign in with Apple, with Google, or with a link we email you.
  • You can delete your account in the app: open More, tap the account row at the top (it shows your name, or “Player” if you haven’t set one), then tap Delete account. You can also ask us to delete it by emailing hello@stoapoker.com. Delete Your Account has the full steps and what is kept.
  • Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. See Subscriptions, below.

Subscriptions

Skills 1–2 are free. A Stoa Premium subscription unlocks Skills 3–12. There are two plans:

  • Monthly: $9.99 per month
  • Annual: $59.99 per year

These are US prices. The App Store or Google Play shows the price for your country before you confirm a purchase.

Free trial. Each plan includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Apple and Google decide who is eligible, and the app shows the trial offer only when you qualify. When the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged the plan price, unless you have canceled.

Billing and renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or your Google Play account. Apple and Google process every payment, and we never receive your payment details. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each month or year, and you are charged for the next period, until you cancel.

Canceling. You can cancel anytime, in App Store settings on iPhone or iPad or in Google Play subscriptions on Android. On the App Store, turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the trial or the current period ends to avoid the next charge. On Google Play, cancel any time before the renewal date. If you cancel during a paid period, Skills 3–12 stay unlocked until that period ends. Uninstalling the app or deleting your Stoa account does not cancel a subscription.

Refunds. Apple and Google handle refunds under their own policies. To ask for one, contact the store you subscribed through.

Test Builds

We may also offer test versions of the app through Apple TestFlight or Google Play testing. A test build is provided as is. It may contain bugs or unfinished features, and it can change, stop working or be withdrawn at any time. Don’t redistribute a test build itself: don’t pass around the app package or resell access. Talking about it is fine, and screenshots, posts and reviews are welcome.

Your Data

Our Privacy Policy describes what data the app and website collect and how to delete it. For questions about your data, contact hello@stoapoker.com.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use Stoa Poker for any illegal purpose
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the application
  • Scrape or extract content from the website or app
  • Misrepresent Stoa Poker as a gambling application
  • Redistribute a test build of the app

Intellectual Property

All content, including drill designs, educational materials, skill curricula, and visual assets, is owned by EPM Labs, LLC. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

Disclaimer

Stoa Poker teaches poker strategy concepts for educational purposes. We do not guarantee that using Stoa Poker will result in winning at poker. Poker involves skill, decision-making, and variance. Play responsibly.

Limitation of Liability

Stoa Poker is provided “as is.” EPM Labs, LLC is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to decisions made at a poker table based on concepts learned through Stoa Poker.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Stoa Poker after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
