Delete Your Account
Last updated: 30 September 2026
This page explains how to delete your Stoa Poker account in Stoa Poker Trainer, the poker training app from EPM Labs, LLC. You can delete it in the app or ask us by email at hello@stoapoker.com.
An account is optional. If you never signed in, there is no account to delete, and your progress is stored only on your device. Uninstalling the app removes it.
Delete your account in the app
- Open the app and tap the More tab.
- Under Account, tap the row at the top. It shows your name, or “Player” if you haven’t set one, above “Profile and sign out.” If you are signed out, tap Sign in or create an account and sign in first.
- On the Account screen, tap Delete account.
- Read the confirmation and tap Delete account.
- Confirm it’s you. The app asks you to sign in again with one of the methods connected to your account:
- Apple or Google: finish the Apple or Google sign-in that opens.
- Email link: the app sends a link to your email. Open it on the same device. The app then asks Delete account now? Tap Delete account to finish.
- The app deletes your account and signs you out.
Deleting your account is permanent. It can’t be undone. If a step fails before your account is deleted, you stay signed in with your progress intact, and you can tap Try again.
Delete your account by email
If you can’t use the app, email hello@stoapoker.com and ask us to delete your account. Send it from the email address you sign in with, so we can match the request to your account.
What deletion removes
- Your account. The app deletes your Stoa account from Firebase Authentication, Google’s sign-in service. That removes your email address, display name, user ID and connected sign-in methods. A Stoa account is meant to sign you in to every Stoa app, so deleting it removes it from all of them.
- Progress saved to your account. If you turned on Cloud progress storage, the app deletes your progress from Cloud Firestore: your skill progress, the record of each drill you answered, your streak and practice totals, your onboarding profile, your tutorial progress and your privacy settings.
- Progress on your device. The app clears your skill progress, drill history, streak, practice totals, onboarding profile and tutorial progress from the device you delete from.
What is kept, and for how long
- Your purchase record at RevenueCat. RevenueCat manages subscriptions for the app. It keeps your purchase and subscription history after you delete your account, until you ask us to remove it. The record holds no name or email address. If usage analytics was on when you deleted your account, the record also keeps your Firebase Analytics app instance ID, an identifier for your install of the app. To have the record removed, email hello@stoapoker.com and include the order ID from your App Store or Google Play receipt. Once your account is deleted, your email address no longer leads us to the record.
- Apple’s and Google’s purchase records. If you subscribed, Apple or Google keeps its own record of the purchase.
- Firebase’s retention. According to Firebase’s privacy page, Firebase removes a deleted account from its live and backup systems within 180 days, and it keeps the IP addresses it logged for a few weeks. The same page gives no period for deleted Cloud Firestore data.
- Analytics data. If you turned on usage analytics, events already sent to Firebase Analytics stay there until Google’s retention period ends. They carry no name, email address or account ID, so we can’t single out one person’s events to delete them early.
- Crash reports. If you turned on crash reports, they carry no user identifier. According to Firebase, it keeps them for 90 days and then begins removing them from its live and backup systems.
- Settings on the device. Your privacy settings, your theme and other data the app keeps on the device stay there until you uninstall the app or clear its data.
- Other devices. Deletion clears progress only on the device you delete from. If you used the app on another device, uninstall it there to remove that device’s copy.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. It keeps billing until you cancel it in the App Store or Google Play.
While you have an active subscription, the Account screen shows a Manage Subscription button that opens your subscription in the App Store or Google Play, and the delete confirmation shows it too. You see the Account screen only while you are signed in, so use the button before you delete your account. After deletion, cancel in the App Store or Google Play directly.
Manage your data without deleting your account
- Analytics data: to stop future collection, turn off Usage analytics and Crash & diagnostics in More, then Settings.
- Progress on your device: uninstall the app, or clear the app’s data in your device settings.
- Cloud progress storage: turning it off stops syncing and leaves the saved copy in place. Deleting your account removes that copy.
